Most recently, she was the 11th Dean of the NYU Stern Undergraduate College (2011-2019). She has been a member of NYU Stern's Marketing Faculty since 1990, where she also previously served a term as department chair (2004-2008). In January 2015, ''The Economic Times'', India's leading business publication, listed Menon as one of 20 "most influential" global Indian women.
